Now ive been reading various sites and some say to backup the NAND and clean the keys when you update to CFW.
Now my question is how do i do both of these?
I've read that the pandora battery has an option for this? Do i do it before installing the CFW or after installing the CFW.I've also read theres some programs(NANDtool03) that do this for you if you put the program on the memory stick.
So which should i do?
Also what about cleaning the keys? whats up with all that?
The program i read about is KeyCleaner1.4
Can someone give me information on this as well?
My psp is a psp phat with offical 3.95 sonyfirmware and hasnt been modded in anyway.
If it's never been modded, don't worry about the keys. This is only for older mods that had to patch keys to install CFW. When you insert the magic stick with the pandoras it will have an option to back-up the nand.

as far as i know ,you have everything ready
and yes that guide works because i used it to mod my PSP just have the memory card inside with no battery then place the pandoras battery which should be fully charged ,am not sure if u need to use the power button ,anyways a menu should appear ,first choose to backup your nand and wait until it auto shuts down ,then take out the battery and put it back in then choose to install cfw and stay very clear of the psp until its done
