Hi there. I'm using cfw 3.90-m33-3. I have a fake sony 4gig that I used for a magic memory stick and afterwards placed iso's on, and that's working fine for the most part.
I picked up a 1gb REAL sony mem stick and formatted that in the psp, went ahead and transfered over one of the same iso's on my 4gig to it, and it says "There are no games" under the memory stick info. What gives?
I tried copying the root of the 4gig and placing it on the 1gig and no such luck.
I also tried doing the command line to format in FAT and that didn't do anything either.
Maybe i'm missing something here. I thought once you have cfw installed, that any mem sticks you pop in that are formatted and have iso's in the ISO folder, should be good 2 go. Do I need to make the new 1GB a "magic memory stick" for this to all work? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

BTW, this is a slim if that matters. It is set that way that you recommended. But like I said before, If I pop out the 1gb stick, and put in the 4gb sony knockoff, the games on the 4GB work. The iso's I place on the 1GB stick do not.
I never did the command line format for the 4gb stick and it works just fine. What HAS to be on the memory stick, for the PSP to understand the iso's that are on it? Just the bare files that are made when you format under the psp? Because I did that and nothing really happens.

I got it to work! Not sure what I did exactly, but I believe I formatted the card again, went into USB mode, wiped the data manually, and then copied over the files that were on the magicmem stick made 4GB, to the lexar 1GB. Then it worked....
I actually bought the 1GB just to keep around as a recovery tool, but wanted to compare the performance of a legit mem stick vs. fake stick. Interesting to see how much effort it took just to get it to that point!
