Hi all,

Firstly i have searched but all the results come up as too old so because of me being a junior member i cant post to the threads. I;ve also gone back to the beginning of may but havent found a post relevant or that answers my question....so if anyone knows of one please point me in the right direction...anyway here's my issue...

I've set up Tversity after numerous problems, have forwarded the port on my router, disabled zonealarm (it does not allow me to add the port), ran windows firewall added the correct .exe's and also added the Tversity port.

I can ping my ps3 from my laptop and the browser works. I thought i would try accessing my laptop via the Tversity port (ipaddress:41592) and it brings up a browser window which allows me to view and play my media. Great i hear you say...

While this does what it needs, i'd really like to figure out why when i scan for media servers my PS3 does not pick it up? I know i may just be being picky but its annoying me?

on your router is the option filter multicast on?

The only multicast option i have is to adjust the rate setting, this is currently set at 11Mbps?
