just wondering a have a fake 4gb and a real 4gb what would be the best formatting for these cards

If I remember correctly. Back when 2.80 was still popular. Ppl said changin to FAT (not Fat32) can improve the speed.

But if u are using a higher firmware, they say that Sony fix that and it runs the same speed on the FAT and FAT32 format.

Though, if I remember correctly ... it has been two years ... though u can try

Try putting fatsmod patch on it, hope that helps.
