I think only one game has it so far, super stardust or something? You need to wait for the game developers to release patch's to allow for in game music, the update is not a joke, it works! The developers are jokes for not releasing patch's yet! There is something about Xbox having the licence to have in game music the way they do, for Sony to do it they need to rely on the game developers to release patch's for it to work or they risk getting sued for stealing Xbox?s idea. I could be wrong though but that?s the way I see it?

its not that xbox has the license to do it but they own a patent for it. so its not legally simple as you think. There are threads on AD about it already about this topic. sony found a loophole in the patent but the game developers have to make it accessible. here is the gist of it. xbox holds the patent for the hardware to do it from the get go w/o the aid of game developers. they own the right do to so. sony cant do this but they can have the hardware capable but cant do it alone or its patent infringement and will get sued. but with the hardware capable all game developers have to do is put the option in the game to have own music list either from the get go or a patch to existing games. the patent is only about hardware not the game software so if developers put it in the options its all legal. dont throw stones do reasearch first before getting mad. its not sonys fault but legalities

How do you get stardust to play the hdd music? I started playing this game more since the trophies are now available. I may be over looking the setting, but when I press the PS button and it takes me to the XMB, it tells me I cant play music during this operation, or something like that. Im at work so I cant remember the exact message.

maybe you need to download a patch first for Stardust to get it working? connect your PS to the internet and load up Stardust and it might ask you to download a patch, if it does then thats prob your problem.

It doesn't work from the xmb. You have to go into Stardust's options and make a soundtrack.

Stardust just had me download a patch today. I think it was 4.00 or someting like that. But thanks, I probably just didnt look hard enough.

SIDE NOTE: After this update I saw that it was some trophies I received. The dates I earned these trophies didnt show but I beleive it may have been things Ive done before the stardust update but ofcoarse afer the 2.40FW update
