Hello,

Ripped a DVD using SmartRipper into *.vob files. Video and Audio test superb from files on harddrive.
Burned with Roxio DVD Builder 6 onto a TDK -R using a brand new Plextor.
On burned DVD, video quality great, very nasty hiss on all audio.
PC Pentium 4, 1 G RAM, 120 G Harddrive
Reviewed all preferences. Can't find anything to increase audio quality on rip or burn.
Anyone know what the problem could be?
TIA

This is a long shot, but on your computers sound menu, is the microphone setting turned on? A colleague of mine said that he had a similar problem, turned his microphone setting off and it was gone. Seems unlikely to me, but just giving some input
