22" monitors for consoles

Anybody here use a 22" Monitor for their console? If so, how far do you seat from it?

I'm planning to buy a 24" LG L246WH-BN and wall mount it. I will be seating less than ... oh what the heck. Here's a diagram.




1. A small table that a TV is meant to sit on. You know, the ones where you can put the DVD player inside and stuff.

x shows where I would sit but I sometimes may sit at Blue x because I get to lean on the wall. Tell me what you think guys?

I stated if you have a 22" instead of a 24" because I have enough money for a 22" but not for a 24" though I can save. BUT I CAN'T WAIT!

imo your wasting your time buying a 22 or 24? to small if you have the money you should go for a 32? just right for a bedroom.i have two hd t.vs 40? sony in the sitting room used for blu-ray & 32? mirai in the garage i mostly play me ps3 on this & the room is narrow so the t.v is about 3 feet away from me good t.v for the price great colour contrast think i paid 480euros for it in IRL im not saying you should buy it but dont buy a 22 or 24? waste of money as i said imo to small.

LCD TV's have a lower resolution. And 32" might be abit too big.

I'm using a 22" LCD. Perfectly for gaming/computing. Trust me 26" should be the max for a small room like your or mine. I bought a 32" Bravia before i bought this 22" and hmm it was kinda bit too big for me cause i either sit on my bed or a chair right in front of my tv to play games/computer. 32" was too big for that close distant. If i was you i would just go with that 24" perfect size for small room. And if you have a small budget try to check out Vizio LCD they're pretty damn good for their price. And yeah get the 26" Vizio if you're going to sit on the blue X sometime.

Would there be a big difference between LCD TVs and Monitors? Monitors have larger resolutions so they produce a better picture?
