Well I've been backup discs for a while now but since i bought the new computer with vista (xp on the last)I've had an issue. I'm currently using xbc 2.8 when I access my .dvd file on my hard drive to burn (not the iso) it gives me an error instantly saying "access denied" when i cancel the operation it tells me

Starting write process...
File IO Error: Access is denied.

Unable to determine Xbox Disk Type
Feeder.LoadFiles() Failed
Getting media info [J]
Media Type: Not Present
Write failed

I don't consider myself new at backups but something off the beaten path baffles me a bit.

i ripped them all with a kreon flashed samsung drive and have had successful burns in the past using my old computer. just when i try and burn one using the new one. no dice. if you can help me out that'd be great. million kudos to ya. Thanks.

try an older version of xbc, like 2.7
