I just got my Wii yesterday. As I have heard, arent all the latest Wii's D2C2 chips? So why is my chip either a Gc2 or a D2c?

And about pins being cut and not being cut, does that really matter if I am going for a D2Pro 9 Wire?

PS. D2Pro will work with all Wiis right? So I can just order it with no doubts?

The Wii Serial Tracker has not been accurate lately. If you have bought your Wii brand new from around June to now then it will be a D2C2. GC2 is part of the chip set so don't worry about it.

The legs should not be cut so don't worry about that either. You will want the D2Pro9 v.2.
