Modded Wii Cannot Read Disk. Using MacBook to Burn. HELP!!!!!

I am using a MacBook 2.4Ghz running on Leopard 10.5.2. I used disk utility and Liquid CD at burned speeds 2X and 4X. I burned the .iso on a Sony DVD-R. I put it in my Modded Wii and it cannot read the disk! I am getting frusterated as to why it isn't reading the disk because i have tried 4 different games and it cannot read any of them. I know my modded wii works because i played with it with my friend's Sony DVD-Rs. Can anyone please tell me why my wii cannot read my burned disks?
