I have put my tool battery in and started charging it. It has been charging for a few hours. I guess the first question is. Will the orange light turn green when it's charged? Is that the only way to get the green screen that everyone likes to talk about? Right now when I turn it on. The screen is just black. Is the battery no good?
Thanks

Yes I do. Should I recreate it? I thought you get the green screen even if you don't have the stick created. I'm using a 8 GB stick is that a problem?

It appears that my battery is OK from what other forums tell me. I get a green light that's it. It must be my mem card. I wonder if it is too big.

I read on another forum that it must be below a 4 GB stick. Doh!

You can only use a four gig and below.
I used the one gig that came with my silver slim.

just because no text appears doesn't mean the Pandora's battery isn't active, press X at the black screen and see if there is any activity,
when you press X the LED near the memory stick should flicker if the system is following out a task .... let the psp power it self down.... take out the datel battery and MS ..... power up normally to see if a change has occurred....
personally i have had 2 psp's in which no text appeared on the screen it was just blank, i pressed X though and the Pandora's battery
went through and brought the psp to CFW 3.71m33, one psp was fat and the other slim!
best of luck!

What size mem stick did you use? I was thinking of just getting a 1 gb Sony to save money. A 1 GB should work right?

Nope, nothing. No light near the mem card slot. I hope it's the size of the card that's the problem. I'm going to go pick up a 1 or 2 gb today from best buy. Hope that works!

After getting a 2 gb stick I was having the same problems. I then was looking at another website and ran a windows command in CMD prompt to format the card. After doing this I re-did my magic stick and worked successfully. Thanks!
You can close this if you wish.
