Well, I got my CFW (3.90 M33-3) at least about a month ago from a guy I randomly met at a GameStop I work at. He installed everything for me, with his little laptop in his car and what appears to be a battery that he put himself in my PSP (must be that Pandora Battery I keep hearing about). When he installed it all, messed around with it in this recovery mode thing and set certain things up with the number "33" (I guess 'cause of the CFW he gave me...or maybe that's the way it's supposed to be set up.)

Anyway, since I'm new to this stuff, please bare with me because I might not know what I'm talking about.

1) I would really wanna play my PS1 games and then I hear about something called Popsloader. What exactly is this and how do I use it? I read that there are different firmwares for this? Or I may be just confusing myself with this..

2) My brother today just got a PSP and he wants to get CFW on his PSP. Now I know people ask what FW it is and well it's 3.80. My question about this, is it possible to give him the CFW I already through the PSP that I have with the CFW in it already? Truthfully, I don't feel like callin' the dude that put it on there for me because he charges money to let'em do the installing of the CFW on peoples PSP.

1) you need to rip thge psx games to iso format and then convert them to eboot.pbp (which is a format that will run on the psp's psx emulator) id suggest using autopopstation or popstation gui.

popsloader basicly gives the psx emulator a bit of a boost with game compatability and patching problems with multi disc games.

2) you need to use pandoras battery to get cfw on to your brothers psp id suggest using upms its quick and noob friendly

you can get all the stuff for upms from noob911.com

hope that helps
