Well, I got my CFW (3.90 M33-3) at least about a month ago from a guy I randomly met at a GameStop I work at. He installed everything for me, with his little laptop in his car and what appears to be a battery that he put himself in my PSP (must be that Pandora Battery I keep hearing about). When he installed it all, messed around with it in this recovery mode thing and set certain things up with the number "33" (I guess 'cause of the CFW he gave me...or maybe that's the way it's supposed to be set up.)
Anyway, since I'm new to this stuff, please bare with me because I might not know what I'm talking about.
1) I would really wanna play my PS1 games and then I hear about something called Popsloader. What exactly is this and how do I use it? I read that there are different firmwares for this? Or I may be just confusing myself with this..
2) My brother today just got a PSP and he wants to get CFW on his PSP. Now I know people ask what FW it is and well it's 3.80. My question about this, is it possible to give him the CFW I already through the PSP that I have with the CFW in it already? Truthfully, I don't feel like callin' the dude that put it on there for me because he charges money to let'em do the installing of the CFW on peoples PSP.

LOL Yeah, I'm an avid forum user on different sites so I know the ropes.
Again, I don't wanna sound stupid, but I just ended up being lost with guide you sent me in the 2nd link. So, the pandora battery thing is gonna used from the current battery I have? This won't mess it up will it?
When u create the magic stick in your psp run it and it'll give you the option to make your battery into a pandoras (make sure you check the option to back-up the eeprom) then place the magic stick in your brothers psp then the pandoras, run the installer and after its done put the battery back in your psp with the magic stick and then under the option to make pandora you can turn your battery back to normal.

I also noticed on another guide that you have to open up the battery up itself. Is that something I have to do in order to transfer my CFW over to his PSP before I start follwing mrgooey's second link he gave me? Or is that really a one time thing when you wanna put CFW on your PSP yourself without any resources (another PSP with CFW)?

no, you see there is two ways to get pandora. Either use a custom firmware psp to softmod one. Or to hardmod one. To softmod meanin using software to make the battery. Hardmod meanin to open the battery up and pulling a pin. Just follow my guide. It will show you how to softmod ur battery with your custom firmware psp. ppl only hardmod when they dont have the "resources". I recommend softmoddin cuz i found it is the safest way. Note that u can convert the pandora battery back to a normal battery
