I need some help with my WII. I have a NTSC WII with a D2b chipset. I installed a Wiinja deluxe about a year ago myself. It has been running great but last night when I was out of town for work my gf called and said it would make a vibrating noise when I game was placed in and spit it back out.

What does the problem sound like ?

I checked all connections and they were good. It sounds like one of the linkage pieces are stuck but I am not sure.

It dosent sound like a problem with the modchip but a piece coming loose in the drive itself. No idea what though, sorry.

That is what I was thinking. I took it apart and ran the drive and didn't seem like the drive was engaging the disc since it didn't rotate.

Only time I ever had this problem was when one of the ribbons on the drive board was not connected properly, or the drive was not set i.e. screwed down...

I found the problem, its was a broken took on one of the center gears. I am going to see if I have something that fits or make one myself.
