so a couple of months ago i got one of my friends to mod/customize/ hack idk watever you wanna call it the point is my psp was on a custom frimware, 3.90 m33 the game worked perfectly for a long time and the custom firmware was really cool. anyways about a week ago this message popped up that said "setting information is corrupted. press O button to repair and restore default settings.", my friend who modded it in the first place moved away so now im stuck and i dont know how to fix this problem he told me i need to recover it but im clueless on how to do this. if this thread has already been posted im sorry for wasting your time and repeating this. but i seriously need help i can access my recovery menu but i dont know wat to do after that so please help.

Have you pressed O?

That will reset flash1.

If you can enter recovery you can place a recovery folder onto your psp memory card that you can access through recovery. This will take you to 1.50 where you can update to M33.

Far easier method is to get a pandora battery and restore.
