Please dont criticize me for thinking this way just hear me out and i would love comments on what you guys think.
Ever since Sony came out with its ps3 its been ridiculed about copying this copying that?now for that I could understand the SKUs when they first started off. But after that I truly believe that people have taken too far to the extremes. For instance the controller which is one of my BIGGEST topics right now. Motion control we all know the Wii has it and the Ps3 has somewhat motion. People baggered the life out of the ps3 for having motion control in there control because it was too much like the Wii, yet when you sit down and play them they are nothing alike. They both feel way different with people favoring the Wii?s motion because its not just reading 6 direction hence Sixaxis. Now there?s been RUMORS that Microsoft will be introducing a ?Motion Control? and I just now seen a clip of one but it didn?t really say which system it was for Here?s a link to it if you wanna see it: http://www.n4g.com/ps3/News-168494.aspx Now I was reading comments on this to see what people were thinking?and to my surprise they were praising this piece of plastic rip off. Ok Sony introduces Sixaxis but if Microsoft introduces a light saber knock off people will jump for joy and prays that I don?t believe that too be entirely suitable for this industry. Second think that gets me is the 360 as the ?red ring of death? which I found to actually be curable by my friends 360 which I bought from him?anyway. Now we all know the Nintendo has their Mii avatar, and Sony is coming out with HOME that?s fine because Microsoft had Xbox Live?but to rip both consoles off at the same time and people still prays the loving goodness out of that too!!! Yet when they see ps3 ?Oh its just like Second Life? whatever that social program is called and they put Sony down for the minute things its real frustrating to see them being criticized like this. I may not work for them but I am a proud supporter. I could understand the next SKU?s they made with the 40 and what not because they were listening to us as consumers and were trying to lower the price whilst keeping what they knew were selling points HDD and Blu-ray drive. I don?t know maybe somebody else can Shine some light on this and show me that maybe I?m just over reacting but as right now I see it as the media still looking at Sony as if this was the Ps2 era and they needed to be number one again. I know this is alittle late but it just popped into my head two things one the firmware update 2.40. When 360 had some updates and crashed some people systems I didn?t hear too much complaint about that but when ps3 did it it was like hell froze over?? WTF?and lastly the online. Though its free people still complain that Sony is still not doing this or that, ?oh but the 360 has it!!!? I can see they are doing the best they can does anyone else? I know I?m a Sony Fanboy but yes I do have all three systems as well but seriously I wonder if people can really get any ignorant in this industry?

Don't watch G4Tech TV then. If you want PS3 hate on then you will get it there.

I beg to differ on the comment about G4.I watch G4 all the time and i have never heard any negative comments about the PS3.Can you be specific on exactly which show on G4 is bashing the PS3.
Happy owner of a 40g PS3.

They don't bash it necessarily they're just biased and tend to ignore a lot of happenings with the PlayStation and focus on everything xbox.

WOW. Where do I start? K Here I go.
Halo3 Came out and G4 did a 24 hour episode dedicated to the game. The same was done for Rock Band and GTA4. MGS 4 came out and what did Attack of the show do?! A freakin' clip show! Yeah!! A " best of Olivia Munn" episode the day MGS4's launch and they did a best of Gadget Pron which is a segment they do on AOTS. K. I thought to myself this just must be pure coincidence. Are they really snubbing the biggest PS3 title to date. On the 2nd episode. MGS4 was not even mentioned on the ticker they run on the bottom of the screen. All they did for MGS4 the day of was a poll on G4 site! A freakin' poll!!! WTF? The poll as were you buying the special edition or the normal copy of MGS4.
Second instance
When Blu ray won, again AOTS went out of their to state that HD DVD should have won the format wars stating the various reasons as to why this was so.
They are suppose to be a "gaming and tech channel" They fail time and time again to represent all 3 formats equally. I find that the only time the PS3 gets attention form G4 is when the news is negative.

Yea its so homo that when MS and Nintendo screws up everyone kinda brushes it off and eventually forgets about it. Sony always get hate on its nothing new.
The whole copy this copy that thing is retarded. Everyone always base their ideas from someone elses. Who first invented controllers? Who first started putting games on CDs? DVDs? Doesnt really matter.
Yea I agree it sucks that Sony doesnt get as much credit as they deserve but oh well what can you do. But the whole copying drama is really idiotic dont you think?
One of the first and most annoying copy related arguments Iv heard is the Sony's XMB. Sony bashers are saying that PS3 is so desperate that they would have to copy the 360 fan or blade page what ever it is called concept... allowing access to music, pictures, videos, etc. But little did they know the xmb design has been in the works way before the 360 ever came out. The PSP had that concept and pretty much the same xmb as the PS3 and it came out way before the 360 did.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

Olivia is the only one that does not bash the PS3. Last year at E3 when Kevin was asked what he thought about HD-DVD loosing, he would not ansewer, Olivia started talking good about Sony and Kevin cut her off. Watch a review about a DS game that is simple and graphicly crap. It will get a good score. A PSP game that is better and with great graphics will get a crap score. I quit watching G4.

Well, i stopped watching G4Tech TV since the screensaver days with Leo Laporte, Patrick Norton, and Kevin Rose, those were the days!! I also missed Call For Help with Chris Perillo, remember those days?? I know i do, wtf is wrong with this network now, it totally blows!!

The station was great when it was TECH TV. G4 got it and screwed everything up. If they were not going to keep any of the old programs, they should have started their own station.
