Can there be good and bad quality of backup images?
because i've burned some and not all work, it says that it can't read the disc, i use Verbatim discs... pls help me! is it possible to RE-Burn a written +R DL disc?

not sure on the first question other than it could be a non-patched game, so it just wont boot with the newer FW. but, you cannot reburn a DL disc unless its a DL-re-writable one. and i dont know if those are out there or not.

Could the laser lens possibly be dirty?
because one of the games starts to load then i get the "unreadable disc" window. I have checked ALL my backups before i burn them, with XBC V.2.8

Could it be my firmware in my burner? i have like EX02 and i've seen EX31's but my computer is a laptop from Acer so i'm not sure if i should just grab the first firmware updater i find.

I'm greatful for ALL suggestions and answers

if its an old console, then the laser could be dirty, or the laser could be going out. and if there are any updates for your burner, i would grab them up as they were made for some reason. just make sure they are for your drive and not some other acer model.
