seem to me like you havent flashed your drive properly, as when i burn a game it comes up saying "disc is unreadable", then afterwards it says "PLAY GAME" on dashboard.
my un-modded 360 console says "please insert this into an xbox 360 console".

Hi lonewolf,
I think he means your 360, like have it flashed again. But hey have any of your backups worked? Or have they all failed with this message?

Hi again,
Ok, so your 360 is probably not the problem if it does read backups. And it sounds like your using Imgburn properly. Verbatims are ok. Now I must question your ISO's. I have gotten this message a couple of times myself. And it was usually a bad ISO at fault. Have you tried several games? Or are you just trying the same one over? This one may just be no good.

Ok Lonewolf, I have another idea. Do you know somebody with a flashed 360? That would let you try the disc's you burned in their console? To see if you got the same error again? (Hopefully, using the Imgburn guide from Shummyr will solve the problem though!)
Keep us posted, Good Luck!

If anyone is having the same problem as me they should find out what modification you got for your 360 and if its a 'nme mod' you will have to convert your backup 360 images from ixtreme to nme with this program NME-360 aSSociat0r located at :-
http://www.nme2.com/nme_h2.html
i should have done that from the start instead of wasting expensive verbatims..

Hi guys, i didnt really no where to post this but it seems like the correct place. I have read a guide in one of the forums and it says to use a pioneer 111d burner or a LG 10N one. Then to set the bitsetting to dvd-rom. I was wondering if anyone knows of any more up to date equivalent burners that i could use as this guide was written in 2006.
Thanks
Stap
