Yesterday, I noticed that the 4.01 M33 came out, so i upgraded via wireless. I also installed the 1.50 kernel addon. Then my friend came and said his psp was bricked, and since i didn't have a pandora's battery on me i began making him one. I used the UPMS cso, but i made my battery a service one BEFORE i made a fat371,so i went back to the menu and pressed square to make it. After a while it told me to restart the installer, and shut down. The green light was on, but the screen wasn't, so i took out the battery, plugged in the ac adapter, and turned it on. Again only the green light. I tried again, but holding the R trigger, and i accessed the recovery menu. Then i did something really dumb. I connected it to my mac via usb (Yes, my PC broke) and deleted the installer and the PBPs, hoping it would work. Again it didn't. Then I connected it again and it said the disk could not be read, and went to the disk utility. I then went and erased the sony media drive, hoping it would solve the problem. It didn't. I can still access the recovery menu if i take out the battery and plug in the A.C., but thats it. I've tried the guide to recovering semi-bricked psps too, and it doesn't work. I also use the /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP to access the OS pandora creator just in case i messed it up in the beginning, but there is just humming, then the humming stops, and the green light goes off.
