I have tried to do this without having to ask for help. I give up.

I have followed the instructions given here and the following comes up on the screen.

Loading 1.50 firmware... OK.
Writing 1.50 firmware... OK.
Loading 3.52 firmware... File 352.pbp couldn't be opened.
Press X to exit.

I bought this PSP on eBay and it already 3.40 OE. I had no idea what that meant. This forum has taught me a lot about my PSP, but before I found this place and before I knew what I had on my PSP, I did download an update from Sony and put it on the memory card.

Since I did that, I am unable to play one of the games, Fight Night Round Three, that came on the memory card.

I really don't have a clue what to do next, but there are some games that won't load up on the system, like Star Wars Battlegrounds.

I could use some help, and please write like you are talking to Jethro Bodine, because I am a total noob at all this (as if the Sony update thing didn't give that away.)

either ur are missin the 3.52 update or it is corrupt. Here use this guide
