Hey everyone,

I'm having trouble getting CFW on my PSP. Here is what I have:

- Slim PSP, OFW 3.95
- pre-modded Pandora's Battery ordered online
- 4GB memory stick PRO duo
- Windows Vista

My problem:

I've used several different methods to try and create a MMS (TOTAL Newbi Easy Installer, PSP Grader, elgordoeste's installer) and each one produces the same result - the green power light turns on when I insert the battery, but the screen remains black, and nothing happens. I've tried to follow all instructions - holding L when inserting the battery, pressing X to install M33 even when the screen isn't on, making sure the WLAN switch is off, but I'm unsure if my MMS has even ever been installed correctly.

I am aware that Vista has had problems in the past in making a MMS, and the same result has occured when I used another computer with XP on it.

I've tried to read all the resources available and do everything I can to make this work, but nothing seems to help. If anyone has ANY ideas of what I'm doing wrong, I would love to hear them.

Thank you!!

use this guide to make your mms

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313

i had trouble making my mms on vista

making the mms is kinda tricky

basically follow it up till here

press 1 then push enter

then just keep pressing enter it will ask you to insert a new drive letter. type your psp driver letter

it will say the bottom half of this picture

then it will say this

type y then press enter

then go to option 4
it will write files to your memory stick then youll get this type y

type y and press enter

Now go to the ADD_ON folder that was included with the download.

Drag the PSP folder and 1.50.PBP to the ROOT of the Memory Stick.

and you should be good to go
