Hi,

I installed the clip and set the jumper settings to d2c2

both originals and backups worked for approx 10mins then i get a black screen saying eject disc and reset the console.

anyone have any ideas why this is?

i have tried the following.

* deactivating wii connect 24
* tried different jumper settings ( this just wont allow me to eject and put in discs at all)
* running the wii with the case open to allow air flow
* tried lots of different backup media and original games
* tried reseating the chip

could it be a faulty chip or clip?

dont see how it can as it works for 10mins.

NOTE. my board is a d2c but i have no success with those jumper settings. I get best results on a d2c2 jumper setting.

Please help as no doubt this has happend to someone else at somepoint.

ive given up on the thing mate! ive traded it in for a d2pro and wii clip! random problem.

I think your mate should do the same. seen a lot of bad press about the d2suns. in concept they are good chips but they are a clone of the wasabi chip i think.

mate i must of reseated that clip a million times!

d2pro works fine.
