Looks like a Wiinja but I wanted to make sure. And if it is a Wiinja how do I know if it is a deluxe or v1/v2?

It looks like the Wiinja to me as well. I believe that was the very first wii modchip.

I know for sure that the early wiinja chips did not have a logo, I'm not sure about later ones though. And the wiifree used a longer chip with more legs and required shorting several of the legs together.

Edit: I'm apparently thinking of the early wiifree chips. I just looked up the chip that its currently using and it could very well be that one.

Also, how did this post end up before the one I made it in response to?

LOL ya I think its been happening on the forums for some odd reason. But ya I guess if its a wiifree or early wiinja there is nothing I can do to play Wiifit then.. although it is odd that I can get mario kart to work by patching it with trucha.. anyone else care to chime in?

The wiifree is updatable, but I'm not sure if its updatable from DVD or if you need the hardware to connect it to your PC. The early wiinja is not updatable, so if thats what it is then you're outta luck.

And you should be able to patch wii fit with truncha to make it work as well, at least until a game makes you update to firmware 3.3 and blocks your truncha signed disks.

You may just want to upgrade to a wiikey and save yourself some headaches.

Ya I tried to patch Wiifit also, and it worked the first time.. but now its not working again. In the disc channel it just starts spinning and when I eject and put in another disc nothing works. I have to power down and restart the system for other discs to work. I guess we just have to switch modchips.
