I have done some research but still wanted some expert advice.

I have a Wii which is modded with a chip but I do not know which one and it allows me to play copied region free games. My System firmware is 3.3U.

There are few games which do not play but I have always thought they are bad quality discs.

Do I need Homebrew with its regionfree software.

Is there much benifit to install homebrew if you have a chipped system? or its just nice to have installed?

If the game disc have been signed with the Trucha exploit and you have 3.3 Wii firmware then the games can be blocked from playing.

In order to bypass this you can use Gecko OS (which you load through homebrew).

Other then Trucha Signed disc all other backup games should work on most Modchips if they are riped and burned properly with no Trucha Signed exploit on them.

Thanks larrylje.... I have 8 games which do not work I do not know if the are Trucha signed. Any way to find out>

Also how can I install the Homebrew without twilight princess game as I do not have it. Its hard to get hold of a NTSC copy. I did look on the homebrew site they have a direct installer which is in ISo format would that work?

The iso will only work if you dont have firmware 3.3 as its been truncha signed to make it work. Sorry.
