My question is if I have a Star Wars L.E. PSP straight out of the box running version 4.01 and I want to play my ripped Final Fantasy 7 game on it how do I go about this?

I watched a tutorial on You Tube that walked me through ripping and preparing the game on my memory card but it doesn't play because I have not done anything to my PSP to be able to get it to play these games. When I try and play it it says "The copyright protection information is invalid"

Anyways I appreciate any help you can give me I need someone who can start at the beginning because I have only owned a PSP for about 3 days and I have no idea what I am doing.

P.S: I also bought a FF7 Limited Edition Crisis Core Bundle and it is freaking sweet.

I will give anyone who wants to make helping me a personal project an original Final Fantasy 7 game for the PS1 or PC, your choice. Email me if interested

read THIS guide to get custom firmware. pandora's battery and magic memory stick is the ONLY way to get custom firmware on ALL slims and 3.51+ official firmware.

i'd get the limited edition CC:FFVII bundle, but they cost a grip.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10

got a whole lot more to list . . .

I dont care about any games other than FF7 which I have ripped from my PS1 disks. I cant play this unless I get the Pandora and the Magic Memory? Where do I get them?

doesn't matter, you still need custom firmware to run ripped ps1 games.

magic memory stick is easy to make; only requirement is a computer running xp 32bit.

pandora's battery is more iffy, but there are multiple options.
- find someone with custom firmware already, and flash a FAT psp battery.
- hardmod your battery
- buy the datel TOOL battery, only available online.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd

i'd recommend the fat TOOL battery. can be used in all psp's.
