I'm installing ubuntu 7 and have backed up all my GameOS, partitioned 10g for the otherOS and then restored my backup.

I see that it formats prior to reinstalling my backup GameOS.

I'm assuming it only formats the main partition and doesn't overwrite the otherOS partition I've created? There doesn't appear to be any way to view the 2 partitions. System Settings>System Information only tells you how much is left on the hard drive overall.
