ok like lots of other stories, theres just no way i can find what my modchip is, (atleast not forcely) i just want to know the answer for this question to set the record straight. sorry im still noob and sorry for my english

is it safe to update using wiiconnect24 with unknown modchip?

i have a 3.1U version.

I'm not answering this until you at least try searching. Your question has been answered AT LEAST a dozen times in the last week alone. Seriously, someone asks this at least one time every day, often more.

well using the search and using the terms i also use doesnt give me good/ same threads, im sorry for being noob but can some one point me to same thread or atlease a yes or no would be fine, forgive me but i just wanted "quick" answer only,i dont have much time digging so much around. im sorry... point me to some direction may help me and others whos same boat as me....
