Ok So I have a psp slim with the latest official firmware installed. I want to play emulators on it. Now if I buy a pandora battery and make a pandora memory stick will I be able to play emulators on it? Also if I switch back to my normal battery and normal memory stick will I be able to use official firmware and basically have my psp slim normal (as it is now)?
1. Yes, if u get the pandora u can get a custom firmware. Then, u can run emu.
2. I dont think u get the pandora part
To play emu, u need a custom firmware (CFW). Custom Firmware is like a Sony firmware ( basically the same) except that it it hacked so u can play emu, iso, homebrew app and such. To get a custom firmware u need the pandora's battery.
So, once u get to custom firmware, u can convert it back to official. But then u need to convert to CFW back to play emu again. SO just stay in the CFW.
1. Sony wont accept it if u use ur warranty. But, u can put it back to official firmware ...
2. Some PSN games, themes ...etc may not work. Most of them do.
I cant think of anything else ...
Yes, u can play umd games/movies in whatever region u have
