Is it possible to update my firmware on my 1 month old xbox360, i have been told as this is the latest xbox360 release there is no firmware updates for my dvdrom as yet.

depends on what dvd drive you got. if you got a liteon drive, then you cant flash the dvd to play burnt games, but if you got the benq or the hitachi drive then yes you can flash it.
