How to flash MS28 with manually patched FW using iPrep?

Hello all,

I've successfully dumped my original firmware using iPrep v0006 - but when it comes time for FirmTool to run, I get a Stack Overflow error. I've done absolutely everything that has been suggested to overcome this error to no avail. So I've patched the 12x 1.4 iextreme firmware by dropping the original firmware dump into the 12x folder and running 'Make iExtreme Firmware', as shown in a tute that I've seen elsewhere (originally posted for Benq drives). So what I have in my 12x folder now is:




What I'd like to know now is how to inject the patched FW into my MS28 using iPrep. I'm sure that I'll get a stack overflow again once the patching is done but I'm not unduly worried about that.

Do I have to rename the ix14 .bin? Where do I paste it on my USB stick, and what other files need to be present before I can run fsam?
