I was searching through the internet for drivers to allow a guitar hero or rock band guitar be compatible with my computer. unfortunately, i couldn't find the drivers and it's hard to believe that no one has made those drivers yet so it must exist. if anyone manages to find anything out there that allows a computer to recognize a guitar hero/rock band guitar please post it, especially if it only requires to plug in the dongle then the drivers do the rest. if my computer's information is required, i will post it upon request.
Note: When i mean a guitar hero guitar, im talking about guitar hero 3's guitar and for PS3 (of course).
I tried using my PS3 Rockband guitar controller with the PC version of Guitar Hero, but of course it didn't work. Windows instantly identified it as a "Harmonix USB hub" and automatically installed a driver, but Guitar Hero wouldn't even see it.

Sorry, I'm been slammed with work and computer issues, and just now got a chance to revisit this. So yes, it shows up in Game Controllers in Windows as a "Harmonix Guitar for PlayStation 3", Status: OK. I guess that means that Windows can speak to it, so the issue is that Guitar Hero is either not coded to work with it or else coded to *not* work with it, right?
