Hi people, i would like to know if there is a way to see if i have a Lite On on my 360 without having to open it. Because i want to flash it due to the fact that i have 2 xboxs, and i rarely use my other one, the dude that is going to flash it already said he dosent know how to flash Lite Ons, and since i don want to open my xbox because id probably screw up, destroy the warenty, and i dont have a torx 10. Id like to know if it has the Lite On drive, to see if id mail him the console or not. Thanks

i would not recommend sending your console out and i don't think a lot of bored members here would either some people have had some rough experiences with it...

Remove the faceplate and pop the eject button off. Shine a light in the square hole. If you see 2 yellow wires it's a Lite-on. Also if the console was manufactured after mid-April 2008 this it's most likely a Lite-on.

get it flashed by a pub m8/ your dads pub mate he will probabily be much cheaper no p&p costs and your 360 will be 100% safe stting in your mates house rather than a stranger who wont fix it for free if he recks it
