hi can any 1 help me with psp im new to this and my son wants to download movies and games and update with some better updates. we have the fat one verson 3.50 we want to get the full benfits of the psp but dont know how
please help we have downloaded the new 4.0 frameware but dont know were to put it in the psp

make a folder called update under game and then put the eboot.pbp in there

example

X:/psp/game/update/EBOOT.PBP where x is the psp drive

no never been downgraded, but when i tryed to updated it. it says crupet data

to play downloaded games on the psp it has to have custom firmware on it, to get custom firmware on to your psp the best way is a pandora battery and magic memory card, or a copy of the unpatched lummins

you cant do the same on the ps3 though you can install yellow dog linux which in my opinion is better than making a ps3 cfw

go to the ps3 forum in afterdawn and there should be a thread stickied about yellow dog

its very easy to install as well
