I decided to play rachet and clank on my Ps3 but it lags....
After that, i tried playing GT4.. and that lags too..
Also, when i switch my GT4 to 1080i display output(ps3 is hooked up to my HDTV via hdmi), it gives me a messed screen and races do not load up.

does anyone else have these problems?

btw i was trying the PS2 rachet and clank
all these games work perfectly on ps2

80GB console just provides a software emulator to play ps2 games. So it may not be able to play all ps2 games on 80GB ps3. But if you have a 60 GB ps3 which has both ps2 and ps3 hardware it will play almost every ps2 game. as yours is a 80 GB version it may not be able to play this game. You can search in net to find list of ps2 games not playable in 80GB ps3.
