They are currently on ebay so i'll just directly link it. These are for burning Xbox 360 games just in case you didn't realise.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Verbatim-DVD-R-DL...bayphotohosting

I recently bought the DVD-R DL and found out miserably that they are impossible to write with.

So as the subject says, are those the correct ones to burn with?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but how did I use two threads? I've only made one pertaining to what DVDs to use and others have also done the same but those threads get pushed down pretty quickly so making a new thread makes sense. And typing 2 words, "smart man", which have no input to a thread whatsoever wouldn't make "the gods above" like it either, which you did on the other DVD-R DL thread. So, in future, don't tell other people how to post when you yourself need someone to tell you how to post correctly.

I appreciate the advice; what I don't appreciate is your attitude. You're just posting for the sake of posting... All I see is "last post by homesick" about 5 or 6 threads and usually they're just a "nice work" or "yes" when the question has probably already been answered.

i have nothing to gain from post padding i try to answer as many questions as i can and comment where i like. maybe one of these days when you become a big boy and you are a senior member you will understand. until then, dont flood our forums with unecessary threads n00b.

Haha, the only way you became you senior member was by posting utter crap. Half your posts are two words and don't even help the person. Take your own advice for once.

homesick - best let us mods make comments about posts in future. Looks like you got rumbled re your posting habits again. Plus insults is a no-no, time to chill awhile (again).
The thread can now get back on track.

Certainly windy in here. But hey Lantis, yes those disks will do the trick. For 360 games I also use Windata's DVD+R DL. They are less expensive and so far I've had no problems with them. And of course be sure to use Imgburn at 4x. That should just about do it! Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. Trying imation DVD+R DL at the moment, then I'll try these TDK DVD + R DL. If both work I'll probably stick with the TDK as they're the only ones I can buy in bulk local to me. Doing them at 2.4x, I can't do 4x if they only say 2.4x on the case right (just making sure)?

always do it at 2.4x; there's no need to burn it fast. you don't want to have a coaster.

also, you'll see most people go with verbatim media. the quality of the media is that good. they won't stress the laser. but there are the occasional bad batches. the dvd media section should help you identify them

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Both the imation and the TDK work, and the TDK are probably 1 below Verbatim so I think I'll stick with the TDK. Thanks for all the helps guys.
