If you have 3.0 firmware then new games will not play, you need to be at 3.2 to play newer games.

[edit] Update from a game from your own region. Also you may well need to update the firmware of your chip if thats possible, I don't know much about the ninja chip.

Keep in mind that some games can not be patched with WiiBrickBlocker.

Make sure the Import game you are playing is region compatible with your system region.

As stated above update the firmware to current system firmware for your region.

ok so any ideas where i can get the 3.2 update?
1. if you update the wii to 3.3 it will stop the chip from working right?
2. the wiininja (v1) is not firmware upgradeable
3. i am staying in the region the only thing is that my console is at3.0 and i dont want to go to 3.3 cause you will get the error #001 message and block the chip from working i beleve correct me if i am wrong so i am just trying to play the new games i bought with out updating the system (my back ups)

If you can't update your chip then you could be in trouble, because I think even 3.2 will give you an "001 device found error" unless you update your chip. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

And to play new games you have to update, so I guess your options are limited to either playing older games or replacing your chip.

Maybe someone else has a bright idea.

I think the #001 error was implemented in the 3.1 firmware release.

Those that can not update their Modchip used the Trucha Signed Exploit to disable the #001 error at the Game Disc level.

Keep in mind 3.3 blocks Trucha Signed disc from working. However you can use Gecko OS to bypass this as well when on 3.3 firmware.

I would suggest getting a newer Modchip that has update capabilities. Being able to update the Modchip to bypass Nintendo's attempts at blocking Modchips is priceless.

Of course you could keep the Modchip you have and update to 3.2 but you will be forced to use Trucha Sign Exploits to bypass the #001 error. All this will do is cause more conflict in the future if and when you update to 3.3 firmware.

Remember, only 3.3 stops trucha from working so if you stay at 3.2 or below for now you won't need to run through Gecko.
