I was planing to buy the ATI Tv wonder pro w/ remote to capture video to transfer to a DVD-r. I also like it because it has a TV tuner. Shold I buy it? Is there a better video capturing device?

Well, as it turns out the ATI card is most likely a software encoder. I have found that hardware encoders work much better and will sync your audio and video to each other better.

I recently bought a DVD Movie Creator A&D from http://www.cestuff.com and they have a TV tuner version as well. Mine took very little setup time and I have transfered camcorder tales to DVD with very little hassle.
