everytime i try to load a game using this method i get to the start game then the game id is displayed but screen just goes blank and console freezes.
i know the 3.3 firmware has disabled the truncha signed games but was under the impression that gecko os sorted this out.
i have a pal a console and pal games is there a setting i am missing.
thanks in advance for any help.

Gecko should play trucha games without a problem so I would suspect that you did something wrong during the installation / use of Gecko OS. Given that we have no idea what you did when you installed it, I'm afraid its impossible for us to say what you might be missing.

You could try reinstalling it I guess.

Are you using Gecko OS with the Twilight hack or HomeBrew channel? What modchip/firmware do you have? I'm assuming these games played before the 3.3 wii update? From your description, it sounds like Gecko OS is loading the game then the wii will not play it. Sounds more like a modchip issue to me!

yes the games worked perfect before the update i have tried gecko both via the twighlight and the homebrew channel and both give same results.
i will be honest with you i have no idea what chip is installed as i bought the console pre installed and was told the only way to find out was to take apart the console which i dont fancy doing.

Try using Gecko RF 1.5 and post your results.
