Recently all my backups started having this error "The disk could not be read please the wii instruction manual", All my backups used to work perfectly, I have installed the 1.9x update and 3.1u version of wii, I believe this started happening after I tried to play a SSBB backup wich it only play until the white loading screen and then it will freeze, any ideas of what could be wrong? I know is could not be my media or my burner because all the games used to work for quite a long time, my wife finished paper mario without a problem and now it just load the flash screen and then gives the error, other games let me play for some time before giving the error, with mario kart and chocobo dungeon I can even eject the disk while the message is in the screen and it appears another one asking me to insert the disk again and some times the games keeps playing for a while after this.
hi buddy, that SSBB had updates on it so i got told, my mate said make sure Wii is up2 date which i think is 3.3? now, b4 i play it everything fine here.
try updating Wii again.
i get that message sum times i just take disk out and wipe it then but it back in again then it plays, if it doesnt work i reburn it, but now i only use verbatim disk instead of cheap 1's.
