Ok it started when i gave my brother my old psp, before it was working fine and then the analog stick started moving downwards by itself... first of all i was thinking maybe its just a tired machine so i let it rest for a few hours then it did the same, i removed the analog stick and tried to see if its the analog stick problem, but no, even without the analog stick connected the games move downwards by themselfves still, Whats up ?

the screws on the case have become loose they just need to be tightened up and it should fix the problem

if not then it may be the screws that are on the analog stick so you will need to take of the faceplate and then tighten the screws for the analog stick.

its the screws i know it because when the analog is disconnected in will act as though it was going to down and right. all psps do it when the analog is disconnected.

make sure all the screws are tight and that the thread has not been broken

if you want to test the analog stick unscrew it from the face plate and the put it on the rubber connecter and see if it goes in different directions

I had that problem with the screws, also make sure that the see-through little rubber pad is in place under the joystick
