are you trying to install the msfatmod?
if you have already installed it then you dont need the files you have (there linked with pandoras mainly)
if you havnt installed it then i would suggest not doing it with the .elf file you will need to download the msfatmod from the dark alex web site and then follow the instructions on the read me

i'm on 4.01m33 i thought i read somewhere not to install the fatsmod because it causes some kind of glitch but i'll give it a shot if it doesn't work i'll just reformat and keep looking. thanks for the help though your the first person i've found that could offer any advise on this.

i'm tryin to install the 8g memory card patch. i edited the pspbtcnf.txt files i inserted the mspatch.prx and copied the src folder to the kd folder (which is called km on mine if it makes a difference). i've done this before a long time ago but i can't remember how it's done. i also read about some kind of systemctrl.prx to add but where do you insert it? i believe my mem card is fake but i know it can be done because i had 8g on 3.90 with this patch i tried pandora'ing back down no dice.

this was written by someone else but it is the write thing
Quote: If you want to use it, go to dark-alex.org, download "Patch to Load 3.71 fatmsmod on 3.80/3.90 M33 (Version 2)" and "M33 PSARDumper (up to 3.7x)", then from another site, get the EBOOT.PBP for 3.71 official firmware.
Firstly, follow the instructions to place the PSARDumper on your memory stick, then rename the 3.71 firmware EBOOT.PBP to 371.PBP and place in on your memory stick root. Now go onto your PSP and run the PSARDumper, after it's all finished, go back onto your PC, look at the root of your memory stick, you'll see a new folder called "F0", go inside that, then the "kd" folder, and copy the file called "fatmsmod.prx" from there, onto the root of your memory stick.
then once you have the fatmsmod.prx just run the fatmsmod installer v2 and it should install it

right now what ever you do do not delete fatmsmod from the kd folder other wise you will end up with a brick.
im sorry that i didnt look into if the fatmsmod worked on 4.01 or not.
i found out the hard way too :) but i deleted the fatmsmod and it became a full brick.
so do you have a memory stick thats 256mb ~ 2gb?
if so then use this - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/607654
if you have a flash0 back up before you installed (i know i did but its no help now) then just delete all the files in the flash0 and then copy the back up across and it should fix it.

hey man i found that formating the mem stick on 3.71m33 will free up all 8g on the mem stick. i guess i'll just have to rename my 4.xx folder manually. hope this helps and again good luck with your psp.

your welcome :)
i had a fake 4gb so i needed the speed up but i shouldnt have been stupid lol
yer first brick as well :( so i had to order a pandors battery and memory stick as i lost my old 1gb and the people i know whos psp's iv modded are away at the moment.
if your on 3.71m33 you dont need to make a game401 folder but a game371 folder as that game folder runs of the higher kernel
Quote: systemcrtl.prx
modifiying the psp version lol
