I got a brand new PSP Slim 3.71 which I wan't to upgrade to 4.01 M33. To install 4.01 M33 I need at least 3.52 M33 installed already, but to install 3.52 M33 I need my PSP firmware to be 1.50, right?

I searched around and found the 'Pandora battery & memory stick trick'. To be honest I don't really undestand much about the Pandora thing. I don't own a Fat PSP and I don't want to open my battery. Is there another way to do it? Sorry, I just got my PSP today, so I don't really know much about it. I just need help with downgrading my 3.71 PSP Slim to 1.50.

Help appriciated!

No you can't downgrade to 1.50.
