Hi when i first got my xbox 360 about a year ago it got a rrod the first time i started it up, it worked the next time i booted up. I thought it was strange but must have been something i did. After getting Oblivion a few weeks after put it in made a character froze when i tried to play. Restarted it and every game showed up as unreadable disc or w/e. Eventually it started working again maybe 2 days later. Now a week ago or so i started up my 360 and i go the rrod even before it started up, like i started it the 360 didnt make any sound at all and it showed up with the rrod nothing on the tv nothing at all. Did that for about 3 or 4 restarts then went back to normal. All these things are very strange any clue why these things might be happening?

my 360 has been messed up for awhile lol but it still works its weird freezes sometimes too :( but its not that bad barely ever freezes its just weird

I'd wait until its on its last leg. Make sure it totally craps out with the rrod then send it in. It shouldn't matter at that point which drive you get, as long as you have a working xbox360. Right?

all my original xbox 360 games have been scratched to s**t from my original 360 that scratched them that i sent back so i only have my backups and 1 original game that still works so i really dont want that lite on drive

then my suggestion to you would be do the x-clamp fix, or hope it holds out until there is a hack for the lite-on drive then send it in.
