I ordered a new 16Gb Sony Pro Duo Mark2 memory stick from Amazon.com and had a question. When I get it do I need to format it to use in my PSP or can I just copy over the files from my current card and use it? I am using 4.01 M33-2 cfw. On my current stick are a couple of isos, emulators and roms.

Thanks

format it on the psp and it will make the files for you

did you get it direct from amazon or another 3rd party (if 3rd party make sure its not fake when you get it)

all ms are formatted before they leave the factory but doing it on a device sets it to the correct format (block size) and creates the needed files

I got it direct from Amazon.com. With all the fake ones out there I didn't want to trust anyone on ebay or some 3rd party online store that I had never heard of or even one that was linked through Amazon themselves.
