i am sooo happy, been reading the forum carefully and i still manage to mess up my wiikey but wierd huh? ITS WORKING!

take a look at this disastrous attempt

but it worked.. which is wierd





how does every ones wiikey look like?


by the way, i sort of soldered over the c3 square thing but nothing is affected.. how come?

Looks like you went to "The bigger the job, the bigger the glob" school of soldering, but if it works, good for you.

My wiikey install actually works worse than that and it's worked better than some people I know who have had them professionally installed.

Seriously, I burned off one of the solder pads and had to solder to a leg on the IC on the wiikey. And my other solder points look pretty much like yours.

I swear after seeing that and hearing it works.........I must be the greatest soldering master the planet has ever seen, and btw I used the no wire way and it looks and works great.
