Hey guys, do you leave either BR PS3 or movie disks in your PS3 when not using it or not? Does it make a difference, thanks!! I know when you move it, probably better to remove it.
Well in the manual it says not to leave the disk in the PS3 when you move it because it can cause damage to the lens or something like that... So I take it out when I move my PS3, but I don't see how leaving it in there when you're not moving it could cause damage.
There was a same thread already about that, anyway, PS3 stop's spinning the disc after 1-2 minutes of inactivity.
Insert a game and to XMB select anything else than game, you will hear after 2mins(more or less) that BD stops spinning.
Dont move PS3 with the Disc tho, if something goes wrong, you may destroy you BD or even not be able to eject the disc at all.

Good tip!
Starting very soon, I will be moving the PS3 from my room to the downstairs living room (the living room finally upgraded to a 52" HDTV) for Rock Band nights. I gotta remember to remove the discs when transporting it.
