help can i use d2ckey in this board? i use d2ckey with clip but not work, cannot read disc. I use LiquidCD to burn on a Mac, 2X speed, and also Disc utility. Tried Memorex DVD-R 4X, Maxell DVD+R 8X, Philips DVD-R 16X, and Sony DVD-R 16X. My Wii was purchased in March 2008.

It has been reported that if 2 letters are under the serial # of drive board then it is a D2C2 board. How accurate that information is I have no idea.




So it seems there is a good possibility you have a D2C2 drive. The D2CKey is not D2C2 compatible. You will need to get a D2Pro ver2 Modchip.

Make dure you get the revison 2. The orignal D2Pro9 will not work with the D2C2 drive boards.
