Well this tutorial is fairly old but I figured I would share it anyways, just for the people that haven't seen it yet. =)

You can download the tutorial in .pdf format here

Before you begin, you will need:
* Soldering iron (a cheap 15w/30w from radio shack; about $15)
* Solder (use rosin core solder from radio shack so there is no need for flux)
* Wire strippers (that can strip 30ga wire, a 30ga wire wrap tool from radio shack includes a 30ga stripper $8)
* Wire cutters
* Hot glue gun
* 3/16 drill bit (or close to it)
* Small pocket knife or razor blade (optional but helpful)

Warning: Using this modded controller online is considered to be cheating, so please play fair. =)

PS: I am not responsible for any stupid mistakes you make during the process of modding your controller. =)

Anyone know of a Newer/better/easier way to do this??? I know this is not hard. Do you know if you can buy chips that are faster???

Well I haven't checked recently so I can't tell you if there are any faster chips out there.

And as far as a faster way, you could just go out and buy a rapid fire controller. Not sure on the prices but you can buy one made for the PS2 and buy one of those adapters for pretty cheap.

I just thought I would throw this tutorial out there for anyone that wanted a project of their own. =)
