According to the latest figures by independent market research company GfK Australia, the Nintendo Wii has become the fastest console to sell 500,000 copies in the region, beating out the PlayStation 2 by 23 weeks. My personal opionion about this is the fact that its the cheapest console out there and its not like the others where parents do not like the fact with the ps2 and ps3 and xbox their kids are just sitting infront of a screen the wii they see their kids up and about. I have been a supporter of this console from day one and now that i am also a console owner it has not changed. Keep up the good work. In saying all that i just do not get the fact that we can not play normal DVD's on this console.

Yea pretty much anyone can play it. My brother got one and my parents and grandparents cant seem to stop playing it. Lol. And my friend who works at eb says that they get 13 in a week and they sell out within the day.
