I have a quick question. I am trying to flash my benq with my on board sata. I can get it to recognize the drive, when I turn on the xbox, the status changes from 5D to ?D. I turn the psp off for five seconds, and back on, it does the same, I repeat those steps over and over, but the status just reads the same, and no dump. Now my question is do I have to use a sata card instead of my on board sata even thoe it does recognize the drive? Im sorry if this is a dumb question, I have googled it, but would like a definite answer. Thanks
Did you just say psp? I think you meant to say xbox360. But, anyway only certain motherboards will work with the onboard sata. You need to buy a via serial ata card. It's about 15-20 bucks. Also take a look at the stickies in the beginning of this forum it will greatly help you. Hope this helps.
Did you just say BenQ? I thought you couldnt mod those >_< Ive been away from this forums too long. Anyway if you can mod the BenQ then whats the LiteOn everyones talking about?
You can now flash the BenQ drive, The Lite-on drive is a new drive, That cannot be flashed at the moment.. Hey jesus i have the same problem only i dont get past the Status 0x7F part. Although i flashed my hitachi no probs!!
